Specialised Training for Judicial Practitioners and Victim Support Professionals
A comprehensive set of specialised training modules supporting the effective application of European and international standards on victims’ rights, domestic violence, restorative justice and cross-border protection.
As part of the ViSAR project, a comprehensive set of specialised training modules has been developed to support the effective application of European and international standards concerning victims’ rights, domestic violence, restorative justice and cross-border protection.
The ViSAR training programme is designed to address the professional development needs of judicial practitioners, law enforcement officers, lawyers, victim support professionals, restorative justice practitioners, social workers and multidisciplinary actors involved in victim protection systems.
The training modules combine:
- legal and institutional analysis;
- practical operational guidance;
- interdisciplinary perspectives;
- mutual learning methodologies;
- AI-supported tools and digital resources.
Structured in a flexible and progressive way, the modules can be used both for self-paced asynchronous learning and for structured synchronous training activities, including blended learning formats combining online and in-person sessions.
The ViSAR training methodology promotes practice-oriented learning experiences, encouraging cooperation among professionals and supporting the development of common operational approaches across different European legal systems.
